Growing up as military brat I was always a little different than most of my peers. By the time I graduated high school I had visited more countries and been on more continents than the average adult in their entire lifetime. And yet I there were still times I seemed to be unable to find things to be grateful for. I started Three Six Six in January 2012 as a way to chronicle one thing each day that I was thankful for for an entire year. Three Six Six was originally housed in one of my many notebooks; I took it with me everywhere and jotted a quick story down in it whenever I encountered a person, place, thing, or situation that I was thankful for. Eventually I moved from the privateness of my personal notebook to the immensely public internet. And so became this blog.
